Catherine,

KIGANS, Leroy
Death date: 11/20/1914,
Washington County Ohio
Volume #1509,
Certificate #63373
(This is the state of Ohio's records numbers)

WE need to order this death cert to see who where his parents. I hope they are listed.
Where can I order a death cert for Leroy in Ohio

I called today the Washington Co General Health Department in Marietta they dont have his death cert listed but told me the Marietta city Health Department might have it if not we have to send to Columbus.
If you live close to them you can go there the fee however is 20.00.
There address is
Marietta City Health Department
304 Putnam Street
Marietta OH 45750
phone 740-373-0611

Do you still live in Ohio.

Ohio is like Texas if they die in the City Limits then the city will have the certificate but if they die outside the city limits then the county will have it
The county has been ruled out.

If we find out who his father is then i can go further back.

Or we might also locate a obiturary for him as well.

Debra
