My mother's maternal family is the bredbecks and Bredehofts of Danbury and Port Clinton, OH

I just read a message on the BREDBECK forum by Chris Katscher, refering to a marriage between Henry Bredbeck and Mary Kihlkin, probably in Germany, and indicating nhe may be my gr-gr-gr-grandfather. I have never been able to establish when the Bredbecks immigrated, or where they came from, other than the Hannover area. An article from a Sandusky paper indicates the families may still have been close:

"…       That county fairs appeal to Danbury people was shown by the number from here attending, including… Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bredbeck, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bredbeck, …the Rev. E. E. Eckloff, J. T. Kihlken, …"
       -The Sandusky Star-Journal (Sandusky, Ohio)        Tuesday, September 27, 1921 p7, col2

Do your records say anything about the Bredbecks?
