Thank you Craig Kilby for the information. Although a bit scary. I have been asking question about Lum Kilby. He lived in Pine Log, Bartow County,Ga. Here he was married to Francis Kilby they had a two sons, Frank and Walt and I believe a daughter named Claire not to sure though. The census info I received from Michael Higgins that Lum's father was William and was told by my sister that he went back to his home in Arkansaw. He left his wife and kids behind in Ga. Maybe that is the connection to the Craig family. I haven't any information on murders. They may very well be of the same clan but the father William came from Arkansaw to Ga. not NC. Lum was born about 1871 and I think that would not fit with your dates either. Thank you for your input and let me know if you should find a connection.
