I belive the Lum Kilby you mentioned is also connected to my Craig family. The reason they are so difficult to trace is that they lived in the Sallacoa Valley region where Bartow, Cherokee, and Pickens Counties now connect. I am trying to locate the burial place of James and Susan Hopgood Craig who I believe are the grand parents of your Francis. My Mary Frances Craig (1858-1907) was married to Nathaniel Jackson Fields. I have that Sarah Craig (born 1852) was married to a William C. Kilby (born 1850) and they had a son, William Columbus Kilby (born Jan 1, 1871). I believe that most of these folks are buried at Pleasant Arbor Baptist Church in Cherokee County, Georgia. My Mary Frances Craig and her brother Monroe are definitely buried there. There are also a couple of Kilbys. I love to exhange information. THANKS!!!
