Summary of contents
Jane Kilby of Kencott, Oxfordshire, Widow
John Bartholomew Phillips of Burford, Oxfordshire, Gentleman
Henry Bowl of Coln St Aldwyns, Gloucestershire, Yeoman
Jane Kilby is selling property in Kencott, Oxfordshire, to Henry Bowl for £150. It consists of a cottage with a garden or orchard on the North side of the stream which separates the parishes of Kencott and Broadwell.
We are told that Jane Kilby had mortgaged this (among other properties) to John Phillips for £100 in 1849. Accordingly £100 goes to him to pay off the mortgage and £50 is paid to Jane Kilby.
On the North side of the plot being sold is another house owned by Jane Kilby which she aquired in 1840.
