Kilby Y-DNA Study

To Kilby Researchers. We are in the process of conducting a Y-DNA study on the Kilby surname. This is being lead by Rick Kilby and we are using family tree dna as the company. So far, 8 tests have been submitted for the 37 marker test, and six have been completed. The results are two results in a "Scandinavian" group, and the others in (in 2 subsets) of "Western European" origin. The Scandinavian group was taken by one person in England and one in the US. The remaining 4 completed tests are 3 Americans and 1 person in England. The two outstanding tests are both American. We really need more participation in this study, especially from those descended from John Kilby of Boston family.
