Hello - I didn't recognize the names, until I realized the middle name of one of Ellen's sons is Burke. I haven't been able to get more info on her - but I think she may be the daughter of Matthew and Mary Kiley of Malden, MA; married in 1866 to John Thornton. Perhaps she is aunt to the ones in the photo...
Is it possible for you to scan the photos of the three Kileys in their 20s? I have noticed family resemblances in old pictures from that time, and may be able to see something.
I just can't shake the Burke - that is too much of a coincidence. Any addresses or photographer's info? I think I will use the other names you listed to find the Kileys in the Census (no luck to date).
