My gg-grandparents were Michael & Mary Kennedy Kiley. They immigrated from Ireland to Pennsylvania. Mary was born in 1837. They lived in Ashland(Schuykill county) Pa. & Mt. Carmel (Northumberland county) Pa. Their children ( my gg-aunts & uncles) were Elizabeth b.1858, Patrick H. b 1859, John Alphonsus b. 1866, Ellen Cecelia(my g-grandmother)b.1861,Michael J. b.1863 & James J. b.1868. John Alphonsus married Catherine Corcoran. John & Catherine's daughter Helen was a registered nurse, b.8/5/1896, single & died 3/25/1972 at Rocky Point, Long Island. Another daughter Monica b. 1913 at Mt. Carmel Pa. d.1/19/1982 at Ashland Pa. married Bert Lassen. Monica & Bert had a daughter Rosalie who married William Harmon. Rosalie & William had a daughter Christine. Rosalie lived at 14 Kennedy Road, Port Jefferson Station, Long Island N.Y. John & Catherine's daughter Clare(full name Catherine Clare C. Kiley) b.10/19/1898 married Leo A. Klein. She died 12/16/1969 in Phil. Pa. and is buried at St. Mary's Cemetery Beaverdale Pa. A daughter Regina, b. 2/22/1903, school teacher, taught kindergarten at a parochial school Mt. Carmel, was single and d. in Phila. Pa. 5/30/1979.

I have info on other children of John Alphonsus Kiley but not sure if they have a Phila. Pa. or Long Island N.Y. connection. Their names were, Margaret Mary, Jennie ( died at age 4), Rosalie, John A Jr.

There are Kileys buried at St, Mary's Cemetery in Beaverdale Pa. One headstone reads Kiley, John A. 1929 - Catherine 1939 - Rosalie 1930 - Bert Lassen 1974 & Monica Lassen 1982. My gg-grandmother Mary Kennedy Kiley Larnard(2nd marriage) is buried there along with 2 of her sons Michael J. Kiley & James J. Kiley.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 47 S. Market St., Mt. Carmel Pa. handles the records for this cemetery.

Don't know if my Kileys are the ones you are looking for but if you need other info I'll share what I have. Some of the names connected with my Kiley family are Haffey, McManimen & McDonnell. Checkout Also you my wish to read my message listing #151 Kiley-Kennedy in this forum.

Good Luck in your search
