My great grandfather Martin Lawless was born in Sleiveanore, Feacle Parish, Barony of Tulla, County Clare. He leased land from James, Michael, and Thomas Kiley in about 1870. Eventually he bought the land but when his last son died in 1948, the land went to Martin Kiely. I was in Sleiveanore in the summer of 2000. There were only 4 of the 38 houses that had stood there that were left standing. One of these was the house that had been occupied by Martin Kiely but the family name was no longer Kiley. I looked at the Kiley board to see if there might be a Kiley who knew more about the town than I do. Also, I wanted to see if there might have been a Lawless, Roche, or Lennon (Leonard) connection to the Kileys. Do you have any further information
