I am researching my family name and came across your message. I live in California. My father came from Brookly, NY and his father or grandfather came from either Toronto or Quebec Canada. They emigrated from Tipperary Ireland...not sure of the time frame. I recently came back from Toronto on a trip to look at the Canadian Archives. I requested info to be sent to me but as of yet (only 2 weeks) I have not received them. It may take some time. I came across a Timothy Killackey in my search. his email is perhaps he can be of benefit. Good luck in your endeavor and feel free to email me.
