I have found James and Julia on the 1871 Ontario Census (available on line through Archives Canada) in Albion, Ont. My grandmother was Mary Agnes (Minnie) Killackey, daughter of Robert J. James and Julia were her grandparents. The family emigrated to Michigan in the early 1870's and settled in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Other Killackey's were living in the Sault at the time but I have not figured out the exact relationships between the families.

I have a copy of James' obituary from the Sault paper. It refers to Tipperary but not to a specific place.

If you are interested in the information I have on my grandmother's siblings, let me know.
