My maiden name was Kim Killackey. My older sister is Lesley. Our father was Ed Killackey; his father John Killackey. My sister and I were raised in Toronto, Ontario,Canada as was my father. Lesley was born in 1950 and I, in 1952. Although my father had an infamous career, my sister and I haven't followed his path. Lesley is a registered nurse while I taught high school for 26 years. We also have a half sister who we have never really known. Her name is Jennifer. I think she'd be in her twenties now.
My father had three brothers and two sisters, one of whom died as a child. His older brothers were Jim and Jack. He had a sister, Lorraine. The sister who died in her youth was named Adelle.
Jim had no children. Jack had one boy named Clay. Lorraine had two daughters, Adelle and Liz.
It was a fluke that I happened to find this site. I thought that maybe finding out more about my dad's family would bring me some pride of heritage. Unfortunately, my father never left my sister and I that legacy.
