Closer examintation of the 1810 Christian Co. KY census seems to show that Kinchen Killebrew, Sr. did not live there at that time. The entry for "Kinchen Kilabar" shows the oldest male in the household was 26-45 years of age. Kinchen, Sr. would have been well over 45 by that time. This would explain how Kinchen, Sr. could have been the father of Josiah L.L. Killebrew, b. 30 May, 1811 in TN. My theory is that Kinchen, Sr. did not move to Christian Co. at all. It was Kinchen, Jr. his son, b. abt. 1778 who was the Christian Co. connection. Kinchen, Sr. stayed in TN, moving from Smith Co. to Weakley Co. at some point. Anyone have any information that would prove or disprove this theory???
