Another researcher told me that Sarah, Eliza Ann and Tom were orphaned and raised by three different families. I don't have my notes in front of me but the names were Black, Wm. Killebrew and a Ford family. Wm. Henry and Nancy Chunn Killebrew and James and Obedience J. Chunn Ford lived next door to them in the 1850 census. After 1850 Ance and Frances disappear. In the 1850 census there is an Asa C. Collie 24 farmer, M.L. 23 female 23, S.F. 4 female, E.A. l female which could be Ance and Frances. The other researcher has a hand written slip of paper with her name as "Polly" so there are three names to work with, Frances which is on Sarah's death certificate, M.L. in the census, and Polly on the slip of paper. If we can find the children living in other homes in the 1860 census perhaps it will answere some questions....Meemaw
