Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Yes, we have been told that we are of native american descent. We have always believed it to be the Shoshone tribe, but have more resently discovered that we may also, or instead, be of Cherokee descent. The name Susan, however, does not "ring a bell". From Nancy Jane, I have very little info, except that her father was supposedly J. R. Killebrew, married to Sarah E. (?) and her grandfather was supposedly William Killebrew, married to Nancy Chunn ( or Chun). However, because the name Killebrew is not a so called "common" name, perhaps we are indeed kinfolk some where down the line. I would be very interested in having a copy of your family line. If you would like, please e-mail and we can perhaps compare notes. Thank-you for posting note. I wish I could get a reply from original person who posted this message; Charlotte Rowden. However, as of this date, I have heard no more from her. Our Nancy Jane Killebrew also had 21 sons, so, I am sure we are kin to Ms. Rowden some where down the line. Again, thank you for your posting.
