Thanks Norma, I will see if I can look up Leon. One further question: I was able to find Haughtie and her sister Ethel Jamima Feeback on the 1900 census living in the household of stepfather Taylor and mother Minnie A L. Ethel Jamima was listed as being born in Missouri, so that was probably Taney Co where Parish Feeback was known to reside. Haughtie was born in Arkansas, perhaps when Minnie left her husband.

The Carter family is confusing to me, so I would love to know more about them when you get back to your home base.
