Have any of you found any connections to Smith Co, TN or Edgecombe Co, NC. There were Killebrews and Lynchs in Smith Co, TN, from 1805 at least thru 1827..
A James and his wife, Nancy, Kichen and his wife, Martha, and Thomas Killebrew joined the Hogan Creek Baptist Church in Smith Co, TN in 1806, same time that John and Milly STALLINGS LYNCH joined along with several other families from Edgecombe Co, NC..
I know the John Lynch moved from Smith Co, TN to Jefferson Co, ILL in 1828/9.
Also, I think some Killebrews moved with the Lynchs (and WHITLEY, STALLINGS families) from Edgecombe Co, NC in 1805. Records from Edgecombe Co, NC, shows that John Lynch had a sister named MARTHA.
Also there were land transactions between Lynch and Killebrews in Smith Co, TN (one in 1827 was withnessed by Joshus L. L. Killebrew)
Would love to share any LYNCH info.
