Well since my last post I have found a little more information about my relatives. I found my ggrandfather John (born 1874 in Kansas) in the 1920 US Census. He was living in Kansas City, Missouri. The same place he , his brother William, and father James were in 1900. Anyway his place of birth is listed as Kansas, his father's as IOM, and his mother's as Colorado. Okay, so this new info hasn't helped me a whole lot. Anyway I wondered what happened to John's brothers. They had to have started out in Leavenworth, Kansas but don't know were they went from there. None of them appear on the SS# Death Index. I also know they aren't in any of the current indexed states for the 1920 census at Ancestry.com. I'm hoping they will turn up in Kansas when it gets indexed. So does anyone have Kansas or Missouri Killip's hiding in their trees? Here is all the info I have on my Killip line: James Killip- b.
