KILLIP IS A MANX NAME AND EARLY RECORDS SHOW IT IS DERIVED FROM MCKILLIP.BEFORE THIS IT WAS MCPHILLIP,SON OF PHILIP. HAVE RESEARCHED BACK TO EARLY 17THC AND HAVE RECORDS TO EWAN KILLIP OF BALLAUGH DIED 1660.EWAN MAYBE SON OF WILLIAM BORN C.1580 D.1613 AND CHRISTIAN COWLEY D.1612 OF BALLAUGH, BUT CONNECTION NOT ESTABLISHED. I HAVE A LOT OF RESEARCH ON MY LINE. WILLING TO SHARE.
