Hello, Ian! I love your name......one you never hear in America. I live in Arkansas, but am originally from Illinois, where I married my husband, Ralph Killip (now deceased.) He was very proud of his ancestry and always wanted to go to the IOM. His grandfather (Boyer) and grandmother (Isabella "Walkington") Killip migrated from the IOM to America in the 1870's. I have made contact with a distant relative of my husband on the Walkington side. I don't have much information for you but it's nice meeting another Killip.....and "yes" it is a very unusual name, but there are still a lot of them around!
