Yes, a GEDCOM file would be useful - every little piece of the jigsaw helps. There is a little more information here than I had previously. There are not many Killips in the south of the island - my family seems to have started in Ballaugh and worked its way anticlockwise round the island through Michael, German and Marown whilst another branch went the other way through Lezayre, Maughold and Lonan with both meeting at Douglas and Onchan! Consequently I have generally ignored Malew Killips.
It is possible that the Castletown Killips are linked to my branch somewhere around 1800 - I will take it as a challenge to find the link - well, you have to be optimistic occasionally! I have a little information on Castletown Killips that might link in somewhere such as the death of Elizabeth, wife of James Killip during the Cholera outbreak of 1832 and the imprisonment of two brothers Thomas and James in Castle Rushen for public order offences in 1835 and 1836.
If I can make any sense of it, I will return the GEDCOM file suitably modified.
