Hi Mary,
Well here goes...hope this will help!
Stephen Alford Killman, b.1853, was the brother of my gg- grandmother, Edney V.J Killman(Mrs.John H.Thomason)b.1855.

Stephen A. and Nancy Killman had the following children:
John Henry Killman b. 1873/1875?
Stephen Joshua Killman b. 1879/1880?
William Leonard Killman b. 1882
Calvin Lee Killman b. 1884
Lewis Madison Killman b. 1886
Vergie Catherine Killman b. 1888
Robert Melton Killman b. 1889
Nancy "Betty" Elizabeth Killman b. 1894
Edith Clementine Killman b. 1896
**Lannie or Sammie Evert Killman b. 1903
(**sorry, writing difficult to read)
**Catherine(Watson)Ashlock was Nancy(Watson)Killman's sister, I believe. I also believe that she married Stephen A. Killman sometime after Nancy died in August 1901. So that would make Lannie or Sammie b. 1903, Catherine & Stephen's child.

So...the next two households on that 1900 census would be Stephen Alford Killman's two grown son's (Stephen J. and John H.) just living not far from their father's home.

I have seen many discrepancies as far as dates of birth go, however I do know that when Stephen J. Killman died in Yuma, Arizona in June of 1975, the paper stated that he was 96 years old! So these dates are "fairley" accurate.

Hope this helps you some.
Talk to you later,
