Not sure if I can help you with this one. I only know that my Henry Killman is listed on the Monroe Co. KY. Census as:
Henry Killman 40 M b. TN
Sousen Killman 37 F b. TN
Stephen A. Killman 17 M b. TN
Edney V.J. Killman 14 F b. TN ** my gg grandmother
Mary M. Killman 12 F b. KY
Henry Killman on the 1960 Monroe o. KY census as:
Henry Killman 36 M b. TN
Susan Killman 33 F b. KY
Stephen Killman 8 M b. TN
Jessee Killman 4 F b. TN ** my gg grnadmother
Mary Killman 3 F b. KY
Note* 2 other people are also shown living with them
Luford Short 22 M b. Unknown
Thos. Walker 21 M b. KY
On the 1850 TN. Census I show:
Killman, Levin 55, Mary 60, Henry 21, Milly 20.
It lists NC, NC, OV (for Overton Co.) So the parents are both form North Carolina and the children were both born in Overton Co. TN.
There obviously is at least one another family of Henry Killman's from the KY/TN area. I am only going by what was listed in Henry's grandson, Stephen A. Killman's, Cherokee Application, of 1906 where he lists his grandparents as Levin & Mary "Polly" Killman of Overton Co. TN/Father Henry, M/Susan and his two sisters/ Edna of Oklahoma and Mary of Omaha Arkansas.
The 1880 Taney Co. MO. censuses, show Henry & Susan Killman, plus their children: Stephen(married w/family), Edney(who was by then married to John H. Thomason) & Mary(still single and living w/parents).
They were also all listed as members of the "Mincy Valley Baptist Church of Christ", that Susan's family of Hoppers were very much involved with.
And last but not least, Henry Killman was listed as "Father" on my gg grandmother's, Edney Virginia Jane Thomason, death certificate.
Hope this helps some.
Talk to you later.
