Mary Ella Brownfield married James ROBERT Kilman b. 10/26/1853 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. They married about 1868 in Pulaski County, Missouri and had Alfred Lawerence and Sarah Elizabeth "Lydia".
James Robert's father was Robert Marion. Robert Marion's brother James b. 1818 in Kentucky is the James married to Matilda about 1845. So that makes James Robert a nephew of James. My Kilman history dates back to 1600s though not complete. Is it ever. Happy to share.
