Hi Mari,
Thank you for the reply.
My wife's ancestors are Nils Kilman b. 1851 married to Matilda Karoline Hiulman b. 1853.
They stayed in Sweden. Their children emigrated to USA in 1904 through New York.
They came to Minneapolis to live.
We know very little about Sweden but would like to learn more about the area, and so forth. We know nothing of the language which is part of the problem with learning more with ease.

Is it possible that your husband's line is related to my wife's ?

Nils son of John Kilman b. 1823
John son of Anders Kilman b. 1803
Anders son of Lars Kilman b. 1780
Lars son of Siwert Kilman b. 1755 and Annika Andersdatter b. about 1757 married 28 Nov 1779 at Visnums-Kil, Varmland, Sweden.
