Thank you Nelson for responding back to my inquiry. My
William H Kilmer was one of three children born to Adelaide Kilmer. Adelaide had 2 children with A Kilmer, a girl and William. Both of these children were born in New York/Mew Jersey state. Our William H Kilmer was born in 1861/62, as he was 18yrs old when he and his parents were in Clay, Mississippi in 1880. A Kilmer died shortly after 1880 and Adelaide for some reason moved to Michigan, married Adolphus Padgett and delivered her last and only child (Delbert DeGrove Padgett)with Adolphus.

After his mother's funeral in 1910, William dissappeared and his sister and husband (William Evans) stayed in close contact with Adolphus. There is no mention of William at Mr Padgett's funeral, but Mrs. William Evans sang at it.
I would like to find out William's sisters' name and find out what became of William as well.
Marsha
