Being the child of an Grifen Lat an Holegway and since marred thomas Kimbrell my father he being yet alive through him I Beg information of you and When he Sends you Shal Be comepensated for your trubel. Moses grifen Died Leaving a large Estate Devised the most of it to the pore of that cuntry the airs at law commenced a action against the Executors and it was Desided against the airs. But Mr. John Stanley informed me that the airs had commenced again and I have not Ben able to git Eney information for Several years thear was a lot Sold and Bought By Mr. J. Stanley which wee have received part from John B. Grifen if the airs has gained the balance of the estate I suppose it to be in the hands of John B. Grifen. I Bege that you shud inform me if it is gained if it is the hands of John B. Grifen and whar he now lives and if eny how much was gained Mr. J. Stanley informed me that John B. Grifen Lived a Bought 20 miles from new Bern
