Hi, Sue, nice to hear from you. My Kimbrells, I think orignated from Tenn. or MO. I haven't found any proof yet. My great-great grandfather was James T. Kimbrell he married Brittania Bess Kimbrell. James ended up in Okla., settled there around Hewitt, or Wilson. They are also buried there. Some of his siblings had also ended up in Okla. I'm wondering if your James was relative of mine.
