Hi Anna,

Did all the Kimmerles you found come from Germany or did any come from England ?

I have Kimmerley (and Kemmerley) ancestors from London around 1800. It seems to me that these names may be English variants of the German name Kemmerle. One ancestor came to Australia in 1829. I have wondered whether he could have had siblings who went to America about the same time.

Any clues from your research ?
