I came to this forum hoping to find out who this John Kinard was. Maybe this will help you.

1 Sept 1720 Mortgage John Keynard (Kinard) planter of Berkeley to Roger Moore of same. Wit Benjamin Schenckingh, Hon Chas. Hill.

1 Sept 1720 Mortgage John Kinard of Berkeley to Roger Moore. Same Wits.

Both deeds are in Langley's deed abstracts, volume 1.

Benjamin Schenckingh m Margaret Moore, sister of Roger Moore and dau of James Moore. Another sister Ann Moore m David Davis. They were the parents of John Davis who m Ann Parris. Ann Parris's sister Jane Parris m John DelaBere. They named two sons Kinard DelaBere. One Keinard Parrie De la Bere b 1724, the other John Kinard Delebere b 1736. Ann and Jane were daus of Col Alexander Parris d 1735 and Mary. I suspect the name Parrie was probably a transcription error for Parris.

I was hoping to find out why the name John Kinard was important to the Parris or DelaBere family.
