Cindy, I believe you might be referring to a Garland Kinard to whom I am distantly related. Our Garland had two sisters, Agnes and Clare, and a brother named Conrad. Agnes and Clare are both deceased and are buried with their parents at Rehobeth Baptist Church cemetery in Spalding County, Ga. Conrad was a physician and lived in Dennison, TX, I don't know if he is still alive, but he would be quite old if he is. Family legend says that Garland killed his wife and her lover with a single shot. I heard this story from my father, but can't verify any of the details. Do you think this might be the Garland for whom you are looking? If so, I can probably provide you with a good bit of info. about Georgia relatives.
