I do not know if this is your George W. Kinard I came across this information in the sc archives,in Columbia sc.
Card Catalog of rev. war & confederate soliders.
George W. Kinard Artillery
no regiment- Bachman's Battery
age 17 Private ( no district listed)

George W. Kinard Cavalry
3rd Regiment Compny F age 18
Private Colleton District
transfered to 1st Regiment ARTILLERY, SC REGULARS CSA

*Jacob Kinard Cavalry
3rd Regiment Compand F Age 30 Colleton District
Died of disease in camp 1865.
these are others that I have info on if any are your family.
J. A. Kinard Edgefield District,
J. A Kinard Barnwell District Killed at 2nd Manasas in 1862,
J. Mc Duffy Kinard Union District, Adam Kinard Colleton District, Walter D. Kinard Newberry,George D. Kinard Union District, George Kinard Union District, and Isaac Kinard Colleton District.

I do no have proof that Jacob Andrew is the correct name this is work that someone posted on the web and I can not find any proof that it is correct. I was hoping that you may of had some information on this line. I am looking thru my notes to see what was given with the name. It has been a while since I have looked at the data.
