Sorry, I too have searched immigration records for Francis Kincannon without success. However, the date of the arrival of the Kincannon name in the Colonies was established shortly after an unfavorable harvest in Ireland in 1739. It has been said that “Many of the very best citizens of Ulster joined the ever increasing tide of immigration and among the passengers were such names as Campbells, Bells, Browns, Logans, Blairs and Kincannons.” (Thomas W. Preston, Historical Sketches of the Holston Valleys, p. 24, Kingsport Press, Kingsport, TN., 1926).

I also have the Trimble book on the Kincannon and McDonald familiy of SW VA. It's well done and I would be happy to share the information.
