New Kinch Book
I'm putting out a new Kich book in 2004 to commemorate the landing of Johannes Kintsch and family 1754 in Philadelphia (250 years ago!).The book is about 200 pages long and traces the Pennsylvania-German Kinch lines from PA, to OH, IN, and onto other states. It does not inclue the PEI Kinches or the New England Kinch line descended from William Kinch of the 1700s in Mass. The first edition came out in 1978 on a beatup royal typewriter, and since then I've worked by computer, adding and connecting lines and have tried to bring it up to date and make it professional. It will include old photos, and I welcome additional old photos and documents not yet included. It's thoroughly footnoted.I fear some newer additions to our Kinch lines have eluded me.I welcome new addtions to our line that I have not yet discovered.I intend to get the book out before year's end.At this point I have no idea how much it will cost--proably around $25-$40--but will know as so as I get final data and photos lined up. Anyone interested (no obligation) send me an email note and I'll keep you informed. If you have questions, let me know. If you are not certain if your line is in the book, ask I'll tell you. Thanks, and pass the word to relatives that might be interested.
