I have agreat deal of information on my family that decended from James first wife Elizabeth (Creps), Kindel, Hedges. I don't know much about James, it is a family tale that James married a second time after getting out of the Civil War and was a bigamist. I only heard about the bible story recently; James had a bible in his shirt pocket that stopped a bullet and noone knows what happened to the bible.
You can see a picture of Amos son of James if you go to www.findagrave.com and put in his name. I don't know which Kindle/Kindel pictures are whom but I have alot of Amos and Orra Kindles family. My great grand mother was a Kindle I do know that she lived in grant County and her first husband was from Kentucky. James was discharged in Tennessee.
