Hi, Greg--I have yours in my database:
.William Kindall/Sarah Foster
..James Benjamin Kindall/Mary Dula
...John Dula Kindall/Nancy Styles
....James Davis Kindall/Martha Jane "Artie" Crawford
.....Martha Jane Kindall/James Daniel Payne
The sources note that John Dula Kendall was b.1797 Wilkes Co NC & d.1874 Fannin Co GA. Here are notes on sources of my info: 1.Descendant of John Dula Kindall is James Foster <> 2. Descendant of James Benjamin Kindall/Mary Dula is Susie Kendall < 3. Several sources for Wm Kindall/Sarah Foster and descendants are: "Ancestor of correspondent Betty J Huss, 2631 Burlington, Billings, MT 59102 who wrote 14 Aug 1990 with several generations of Kindall.

--Msgs of Apr 97 from E.Cecil Kendall <> w/ info on the following Kindel/Kindall/Kendall family:
--Post 2 May 97 to VA State GenWeb page by E.Cecil Kendall <> He notes: "I am seeking someone to do a lookup for me on William KINDEL. I would like to know where he is buried and what is written on his stone. This is the abstract version of his will: `pages 510-511. Will of William Kindel of the Parish of St.Thomas and County of Orange, being sick and weak of body, dated 9th of 1775 [9 Jan 1775?].' I assume that the brackets refer to the 9th day of the year, meaning Jan 9th. It is witnessed 26 June 1777. Proved by Thomas Robins and William Picher. Also, the will ends with the name William (W) Kindel, is there a meaning for the (W)? Is it his middle initial, or refers to his mark maybe? I would like a copy of the written version of the will and the info on the stone and where it is. William Kindel is my 4gr grandfather and this is all the information I have on him other than the query that I have posted in the Orange Co queries. He was married to Sarah FOSTER Kendall, who gather her brood of 6 and moved to Wilkes County NC, after William's death in Orange Co. Any information or lead someone can give me would certainly be appreciated and I will be glad to exchange info and pay for costs, before or after. Thanks. E.Cecil Kendall <> 9210 Ramblewood Dr."
--E.Cecil Kendall posted again 6 Oct 97 to Orange Co VA Queries: "My William Kendall/Kindel's will mentioned being in the `County of Orange and the Parish of St.Thomas'. It was written in 1775 and proved in June of 1777. Could someone please tell me where the Parish of St.Thomas is, and if there is a written record of the burials of that parish and if so where may I purchase it or find where my William Kindel is buried. Next, would anyone know if there is such a thing as a death certificate for that time (1777), if so how do I find it? BASICALLY I CAN'T PUT MY WILLIAM KINDEL IN A FAMILY and can't get him back past that born about 1740 bit. Would appreciate ANY help anyone could give me no matter how menial it may sound. Thanks.'
--Peggy McGee Maness <> posted brief info on this same line to the "All Kendall Genealogy Pages" on 11 Jun 97.
--Msgs from Susie Kendall <> Aug 97 show her husband's line of Kendall is descended from these Kendall's. Susie followed up Sept 97 and sent 20-page descendancy chart from William Kendall/Sarah Foster.
--Msg 13 Jan 99 fm Sharon Jung <> She descends from Betsy Kendall m(2)John Barlow.
--James Foster <> of Fort Smith AR is a descendant and has ancestors of Sarah Foster.
--Barbara Hill has info on Foster's: From: post to 26 Jul 2000 I checked my files for FOSTER & found our earliest ancestor in America (so far!) was a Thomas FOSTER who died in Orange Co., VA in 1791. He was married to Nancy Ann Dula, Daughter of Captain William Dula & had 14 kids--8 sons & 6 daughters, 5 of the sons were Dr.'s. Thomas foster's kids moved to Wilkes Co., NC. Among them I have a John Foster, William Foster & many others. If you would like to check for a link you can view my tree on my web page at:">Family Tree Maker's Genealogy Site: User Home Pages: The Family of Gary Wayne
Hill & Barbara Ellen Jones Hill Let me know if we have a match... Barbara Hill :)
--Cathie Krueger <> post 7 Mar 2001 to KENDALL-L notes her family line descending from Sarah Kendall/Robert Finley Shearer.
Greg: These are not my ancestors; I merely compiled info on them & put in my database as a possible assistance in my research and to occasionally help others like you. Good luck and adios from Fred in Folsom CA
