Hi Brian:

My Grandmother's name was Mildred Lena Kindy Russell. She just passed away last year at 99. In 1960 she wrote up her father's memoirs and they are full of family history. If you're interested I can let you have a copy. I should mention that she was born in Niagara Falls, and then lived in Toronto until 1990.

Her father's name was Mahlon Kindy, and his father was Samuel Kindy, and his grandfather Jacob Kindy.

We can trace our routes back to Holland, and 1724 seems to be the year the family came to the US. The name was supposed to be Kindich but other branches of the family took Kindig, Kindry and Kendrick. They are spread throughout NY OHio Michigan, and PA.

Well I could go on and on, but it is interesting, and I have much more information that I can share with you.

Good luck and I hope this helps you out.
