Hi: My granmother's name was Mildred Lena Kindy Russesll...she grew up in Toronto, and in 1960 wrote the memoirs of her father Mahlon Kindy.
Mahlon's grandfather was Jacob Kindy, and Mahlon had 9 sons. Among them were Daniel, Jacob, David, and Levi who went on to be an apprentice to a harness maker. They were from Ohio and then various other places. Jacob went to Michigan, Daniel to Selkirk, Ontario. There's much more that I haven't had time to read through, but if you think this might help you out, I could provide much more.
