Am very much interested in info on the Kinsvater family. My great-grandmother, Elisabeth Kinsvater emigrated from Dietel, Russia on the Volga to Buffalo, New York in 1913 and wed Ivan Kozloff. She had a brother Henry and other siblings. Elisabeth's first husband was a Ruppel. Her son from that marriage, Albert Ruppel emigrated with them and told me stories about Russia. I believe Henry may have emigrated as well. The family raised horses for the Russian military. Ivan was in the white Russian military. My e-mail is My cousin lives in Russia now and has been unsuccessful finding relatives or even Dietel itself.
