Wilhelm F. KINDT of Alpena, MI (prev. Poznan, Prussia)

Hello,

I was looking for more information on Wilhelm F. Kindt of Alpena, Michigan. He was born in 1859 in Poznan, Prussia (now Wiekelopolskie, Poland). He served with either the German or the Prussian Army, and was an officer in their drum corps. I have only one surviving picture of him, with his military band. I have very little to go on, other than that he died in the 1930s and he had several children, one of which I'm descended from.

His grave is in the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Alpena, Michigan. He is buried with his wife and daughter, Clara.

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
