Jackson King b. abt 1822 & in Marshall MS 1850 census
I am looking for descendants of Jackson King whom I found in the 1850 Marshall, Marshall Co. MS Northern Division census. He was listed as 28, House Carpenter, born VA & presumably his wife, Mary, 25, born TN, presumably children: Ann E, 2, born MS; Andrew C., 6 months, born MS and Cloe,75, born VA. Supposedly the parents of my earliest ancestor, John B. King, b. abt 1805 in VA were Peyton & Chloe or Rhoda Chloe.Other sources (testimony at Dawes Commission Hearing) had some info that Chloe was Choctaw & she & Peyton were involved in the Choctaw Removal and Peyton died on a boat during it. So I was wondering if this could be my Chloe, having returned to MS and staying with a relative of some sort.So this Jackson King should have been b, abt 1822.I did find an Andrew Jackson King or A.J. King (not sure if same one)in Find A Grave#82904216 in KY Lincoln CO., d. 1905 with Keziah King listed as a parent and spouse: Julia Ann (Roberts) King (1827-1904) Maybe Mary was first wife who later died? Thanks!
