Nathaniel WOOD, Sr--possibly "fell" 1745 Cape Breton

I am a descendant of Nathaniel WOOD, Sr. Family history writes that he "fell" at Cape Breton in 1745. He was married to Elisabeth Combs. Their son and also my progenitor, Nathaniel Wood, Jr., was born 4/25/1745 and married my progenitor, Susan Case (#2). Does anyone else trace to this line or have Nathaniel's name in their history of King George's War?
