I am searching for any James MOODY's (Moodey's), that fought in any capacity in any of the Indian wars or any others during this period.
I am specifically interested in any James from Maine, MA or NH.
My special interest would be on James Moody born c1740 perhaps in the Buxton area of York Co., Maine. He enlisted in the Continental Army on Aug. 26, 1777 in Buxton, Maine or MA as everything was called back then.
