Looking for information regarding David McCARTY (17?? -1800).
Birth date and place are unknown. Jack L Barron believes he served in the King George (Indian) War of 1754. I do know that David owned land in Caroline Co, VA as it is mentioned in his will. David died in 1800 in Shenandoah Co, VA.
In his will David lists his children (in this order): John, Sally, Betsy, Thomas, William, Catherina, and Nancy. Many of the children traveled into Tennesee for some time, then onto Putnam Co, Indiana. Other allied family names include: HURST, GRAY, and a Reuben MONDAG.
