3 FORT brothers were captured in raid at Fort Saratoga on 16 Nov 1745 while working on repairs at the fort. Abraham J. FORT died in a Quebec prison on 19 May 1747. His brother, Johannes, died in prison on 4 Dec 1746. The third brother, Jacob, escaped from prison and returned to his family.

Does anyone have a source for information about this raid by the French and Indians?
