Hi...
These towns (Whitsome and Hilton) are located
in the same area that our Kinghorn family
comes from. My 3rd great-grandfather,
George Kinghorn was born in Fogo (1784) and
married Agnes MacLaren in Chirned (1807).
George's brother, William married Agnes
Darling in Chirnside about the same time.
Quite possible that your Thomas Kinghorn is
a brother or cousin to George and William.
Also possible the Darling women were related.
Will do some further checking on this and
get back to you. Thanks for your message.
PS: There are some Kinghorn graves in the
Whitsome cemetary as I recall and should have
the names in my notes.
