I just saw your inquiry posted and thought I'd respond. Alexander Patrick Kinghorn was a younger brother of my gr. grandfather George.
Last week I received some information that said Alexander and another brother William moved west with their wives the Campbell sisters. That Alexander was also called Sandy. He eventually became an engineer for the railroad and that Sandy, Utah is named after him. I don't know if that is actually so or not, and you may already have that information. It seems interesting.
Would you know what year that George (Sr.) came to the US, and what ship they may have come over on?
