Robert KINGHORN, Scotland>Canada>Mich.US

I asked Alex Meron, a researcher in Chippewa County, to do a lookup on Robert KINGHORN. He responded:

"I have read the Federal Census for 1880 no Kinghorn listed in Chippewa County for
this time period. But a reading of the Federal census for 1900 I find in Pickford
Township, Robert Kinghorn on Page 63, #138 - born July 1846, age 53,
married 17 years [in 1900]; born Scotland, parents both born Scotland; he came to the
USA in 1881; wife is Annie, born 10/1856; age 53, born Ontario Can.; parents same [born Scotland]."

Now, we need to find a name for the first "Mrs. KINGHORN", (Annie was the second wife), a death date and burial place for Robert, and a birth place in Scotland for Robert.

Thanks to Alex Meron for his invaluable assistance!
