Hi Christian,
The Kinghorn family in the Glasgow poor relief records from 1893 are Robert Kinghorn(2) and Marion Stevenson. He was a son of Robert Kinghorn(1) and Jane Tichbourne.
Robert(1) was born in Musselburgh,to Alexander Kinghorn and Jane Gibson who married in 1834, Inveresk and Musselburgh.
Alex's parents were John Kinghorn and Helen Brodie.
Does any of this connect anywhere?
I would love to pass on the details on the poor relief record to someone who knows the family.
Ps Who were the parents of James Kinghorn who was married to Helen Cuthbertson? How far back have you got?
