Haddington Parish Register, 1771:
"KINGHORN David and Ann Blaickie had a Son born the 12th of March 1771 and baptised the 17th Do. called John. Witnesses John Hall and John Adamson."

John (listed in one entry as "John Wright Lenoxlove Kinghorn") married Christian Archibald. Wright was his occupation. Lenoxlove is a place near Haddington. Among their children:

David (b Sep 23 1799) m. Frances Vert, went to Australia.

Daniel (b. Jan 14, 1811) went to Canada. His children were Christina, Elizabeth, David, Archibald, Alexander and Mary.

Francis Rodney (b Feb 13 1813) went to London (England). He is my direct ancestor.

I have more detail, if anyone is interested.
